Store Owner Shoots Armed Robber Twice

Well, I guess this is one way to thwart a stickup. A West Philly store owner shot an armed robber twice on Friday morning. Police say the suspect entered the store around 8:20 a.m., brandishing a gun and demanding money. The store owner was packing heat and shot the guy in the stomach and the leg. The suspect was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Both guns were recovered and the owner isn’t facing any charges. [Philly.com]
