Fall is one of the most creative seasons when it comes to fashion, thanks to great materials, colors and oh, the layering possibilities. Here are some of our style picks this season:

Boot weather means it’s time to get a new pair of kicks from Bed Stu. New this season, the Bed Stu Caffy Natural Dirty Veg Boot ($145) is ideal for urban treks and getaways to the country. It’s a sturdy addition to any man’s (or woman’s) wardrobe.

Sugarcube is carrying Bren, a new women’s knitwear line from Los Angeles. These cozy, reversible looks are a fun alternative to the usual cardigan sweaters thanks to a cape-like fit and funky patterns and shades, like the Storm Chaser.

You can’t go wrong with the new 1969 Straight Cords from The Gap ($60). These slender low-risers come in several new colors – like rust and green.

Keep it casual with J Crew’s lambswool Falkirk Fair Isle Sweater ($138) that’s as much at home on the ski trails in the Poconos as it is during happy hour at Knock. This version is updated from the old-school design with new fun colors.
