NBCUniversal Expects to Break Even With Olympic Coverage


Higher production costs and the complication of the time difference had NBCUniversal—and, in turn, Comcast—expecting to take a $200 million loss on the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. But, coverage of the Games has seen a nine-percent ratings boost as opposed to the 20-point loss the company had anticipated.
