TSA Recommends Seven Employees Be Fired at PHL After Bribery Investigation

The Transportation Security Administration has recommended that seven TSA employees should be fired for their participation in the bribery scandal at Philadelphia International Airport. Ten employees were removed from security detail following an eight-month investigation that revealed they had bribed an instructor to give them passing grades on an annual proficiency exam. Three of the ten employees have already resigned and the TSA thinks the other seven should be canned. The instructor pleaded guilty in February to a bribery charge. [6 ABC]
