Kenny Chesney Plans Free Concert on Wildwood Boardwalk

Kenny Chesney—who has headlined a bunch of summer tours that have sold out at Lincoln Financial Field and other outdoor stadiums—has planned a free outdoor concert on the Wildwood Boardwalk on June 20th. A fenced in area in front of the stage will be reserved for the first 15,000 American Express customers to get tickets—the company is sponsoring the event. Everyone else will get to occupy the space around the fenced in area. Jumbotrons will be setup and Chesney will reportedly perform on a massive stage—formerly used by Pink Floyd—that will be set-up between Mariner’s Pier and the old Fun Pier. [Fox 29]
