Penn Dean Resigns After He Was Put on Leave Over Alleged Misrepresentation

The vice dean of UPenn’s Graduate School of Education has resigned. Doug E. Fresh Lynch has been a higher up in the school since 2004. The 47-year-old was recently placed on administrative leave after the Inquirer began to ask questions about his supposed doctoral degree from Columbia. A Penn university spokesman has said that Lynch was unaware that he hadn’t obtained the degree from Columbia that he had listed on his resumé. [Inquirer]
