Philly Soul Train Guinness World Record Attempt Set for Today

Last week, we broke the news that Philadelphia is going for the Guinness Record for the world’s longest Soul Train-style dance line, in honor of the late Don Cornelius. Since then, more than 2,000 people signed up via the event’s Facebook page and, of course, Whitney Houston died. So, you could just sit in your office and watch this rather awesome late-80s Soul Train dance line to Houston’s “So Emotional”, or you could bundle up and head out to the Art Museum steps at 4:00 p.m. today and get on board. With the current record at a measly 211 dancers, there’s no way that we can mess this up. Right?
