Jersey Teens Rock “Mohawks for Mom”

Jane Bingham suffers from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She lost her hair while undergoing chemo-therapy. Her nine-year-old daughter was bothered by her mother’s hair loss, so Chris and Seth Bingham—Jane’s teenage sons—decided to rock spiked mohawks. The idea is that people would be more likely to stare at their hairdos than their mom’s. Now, other students at Clearview High School in South Jersey have joined the movement and they’ve got a website and T-shirts for sale. All proceeds benefit Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. [Inquirer]
