The Real Faces of Marriage Equality
The video that inspired the sit-in
The WE DO Campaign in North Carolina created a video for its “Campaign for Southern Equality” recently about why marriage equality is important for real people. Moving, compelling and honest, the video has received a lot of attention around the country.
Last week, one of the couples featured in the original video staged a sit-in after being denied a married license. The women have been together for 30 years.
