PATCO Unveils New Transit/Retail Card

Prepaid card allows users to commute and shop

Break out those hovercrafts and pop a meal pill because we’ve reached the future, people. On September 26th PATCO and CUBIC will introduce PATCO Pilot to the world. It will be allow users to have one card that acts as a prepaid Visa debit card and as a PATCO commuter pass. The program is the first of its kind and will last for one year. Thankfully, the Scoop will be able to resist the rise of the machines as he purchases SEPTA tokens with exact change and pays for parking using only quarters while the robots rise up and consume PATCO and then the world.
