Arlene Ackerman May Have Violated Her Buyout Agreement. Apparently there was a stipulation in the former superintendent’s buyout agreement that she not make disparaging remarks that might jeopardize the reputation of the School Reform Commission or its members. Whoops. [CBS 3]

Cape May, Other Shore Points Evacuate as Irene Approaches. Residents and tourists totaling approximately 750,000 people have begun evacuating Jersey’s southern most shore point as Hurricane Irene barrels toward the coast. Atlantic City and other shore points have begun to head inland as well. Governor Christie has suspended tolls on the A.C. Expressway and the Garden State Parkway to make the pilgrimage a little easier on everybody. [CBS 3]

Lenny Dykstra Whipped It Out. Yes, it. Nails is being charged with exposing himself to  women he met on Craigslist between 2009 and 2011. The Scoop gets the increase in Internet dating, but would like to remind Dykstra that cruising “missed connections” and pulling out Little Lenny for every woman you end up in a room with doesn’t constitute “Internet dating.” [FOX 29]

Eagles Bounce Back to Beat Browns. After a dismal performance in the Steel City last week, the Birds played effectively in last night’s preseason game against Cleveland. Michael Vick took a bit of a beating, but the team won 24-17. [The 700 Level]
