Eagles Defensive Tackle Mike Patterson Taken Away in Ambulance

Patterson collapsed at Lehigh today

Eagles defensive tackle Mike Patterson was placed on a stretcher and lifted into the back of an ambulance this morning after collapsing and violently shaking between plays. He was immediately tended to by a team physician with the help of rookie lineman Danny Watkins, a trained fire fighter. The team hasn’t commented on Patterson’s status but multiple sources say that he’s sent text messages claiming to be fine. [6 ABC]
