Kolb for Rodgers-Cromartie?

Reports suggest the Cards will make a formal offer

Murmurs out of Phoenix indicate that when the lockout is lifted Thursday—fingers crossed—that the Arizona Cardinals will offer the Eagles the opportunity to trade backup quarterback Kevin Kolb straight-up for cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. The move would give the Cards the “franchise quarterback” they’ve been looking for and (might) satisfy a big off-season need for the Birds. No word has come out of Eagles camp on the likelihood it goes through and the team’s brass last went on record saying they wanted a high-end future draft pick as compensation for Kolb. [SB Nation]
