The FCC has Served Comcast Over the Tennis Channel

Comcast has allegedly violated rules by not including the channel in certain cable packages

A lawyer for the Federal Communications Commission has accused Comcast of treating the Tennis Channel unfairly. Comcast has denied the attempts of Tennis Channel’s owners to have the channel included in more popular, less expensive cable packages. He argues that the Golf Channel and Versus—both owned by the Philly cable giant—are similar channels that get preferential treatment because they’re under Comcast’s ownership umbrella. He—and the FCC—are basically suggesting that Comcast is acting out of self-interest. So, Hell is still hot, right? [LA Times]
