Supreme Court Has Good News for Wyeth
Says "Screw you" to parents with children who've had problems from vaccines
With a 6-2 vote today, the Big Judges said parents can’t sue drug companies if their children suffer negative side effects from vaccines. Justice Antonin Scalia said “these side effects were ‘unavoidable’ when a vaccine is given to millions of children.” And that “if the drug makers could be sued and forced to pay huge claims for devastating injuries, the vaccine industry could be wiped out.” The Scoop would love to see what Jenny McCarthy has to say about that.
