Taste: Dining Out: Where We’re Eating: Han Dynasty
“Here’s your friggin’ fried rice,” said owner Han Chiang, who rules his sunny new Old City outpost the same way he does his Exton and Royersford branches — with an iron fist. Sure, you can order shrimp and broccoli or, yes, fried rice, but he’ll give you hell for it: “Chinese people don’t eat that stuff.” He’d rather you try the blazing-hot fish in dry pot (delicious, once the pain subsides), the savory double-cooked chicken, or the supple wontons in their chili-oil bath. And you should — a guy doesn’t build a dynasty without knowing what he’s talking about.
