THE GREEN SCENE: Greenable Goes to NoLibs
Who would’ve guessed that North 4th Street would become our new favorite home-shopping spot? First there was Honey’s (for pre-retail refuel), then came City Planter, for the prettiest urban gardening vessels ever, and, now (or, just one week from now), there’s a bigger, better location of eco-friendly home renovations center Greenable. Moved from Old City, the new-to-NoLibs spot kicks off a business’s partnership with fantastic reuse-rehabber Greensaw and introduces BYOB "filling stations" for waste-free replenishment of cleaning and home care products. There’s more square footage, too, which means more room for Greenable’s lines of lovely recycled glass tiles and smooth-spreading Mythic and Yolo paints and super-durable, all-natural flooring solutions. There’s even more space to park your Prius. (Or Escalade. No judgment.) 820 North 4th Street, 215-922-6066, greenable.net.
