FCM Hospitality is having a very busy summer. In addition to operating both locations of Parks on Tap, opening up Juno, and keeping their other spots (including outdoor dining hot spots Morgan’s Pier and Harper’s Garden) open, they’re debuting three, yes, three new concepts this Friday on the Delaware River.

Spanning Race Street Pier, Cherry Street Pier and Spruce Street Harbor Park, the three concepts make up what FCM Hospitality is calling the Philly River Stroll. All three are family-friendly spaces that are intended to offer entertainment for Philadelphians who are sticking close to home this summer.

River Beer Garden, located next to the entrance to Race Street Pier, is the most casual of the three new concepts, with shaded picnic tables available to accommodate groups of up to six people. Beer will be available from a truck by Mainstay Independent Brewing Company, and a menu of light bites will also be available. Reservations are not required, but a digital check-in will be in place to track guests in the event that contact-tracing is needed.

Reservations are required for the Garden at Cherry Street Pier, which has seating for more than 200 people in it’s 20,000 square feet of space. Guests can order beer, wine, cocktails as well as non-alcoholic options to go with the menu of casual sandwiches, salads and snacks from a pod as they enter. When food and drinks are ready, guests will be alerted by text message in order to keep all order contactless.

Finally, Spruce Street Harbor Park will play host to the Water Garden, a floating restaurant with 125 seats. In addition to a seasonally rotating menu of drinks and food, guests can relax in a net lounge, hanging 4 feet above the water. Reservations are required.

Guests must wear masks at all three concepts whenever guests are not seated. The FCM Hospitality team requests that all visitors respect social distancing guidelines and leave six feet between themselves and any other guests or employees. All three locations are intended to remain open into the fall.
