Mother’s Day is usually a springtime excuse for brunch, pastries, time with your family, and maybe a mimosa or two. Now, we’re facing another day of stay-at-home warnings and quarantine, alongside an unseasonably cold spring. If you are able, this year is be a good excuse to go all-out on Mother’s Day, with a full brunch spread, a big cake, or some handmade chocolates. Or maybe all three, because your mom probably deserves it.

Order one of Vanilya’s gorgeous, frosting rose-topped cakes for an extra-special Mother’s Day celebration, or go more low-key with cupcakes. Choose your flavor (all chocolate, all vanilla, or a mix). $40 for the cake or $20 for six cupcakes.
