Bud & Marilyn’s Is Celebrating Its Birthday All Week Long
Bud & Marilyn’s is a great restaurant. It’s a great place to hang out and drink, to go for snacks, to eat. I forget sometimes just how much I liked it there when I reviewed it almost a year ago, and then I go back for some reason and I’m reminded all over again.
So the good news? Now we’ve all got an excuse to get back to Bud & Marilyn’s, because they’re celebrating all week long (from today, the 29th, to Friday September 2) with specials and deals for lunch, happy hour and late night.
For lunch, B&M is offering their best cocktail of the year–the Frose (a frozen rose slush)–at half price.
Happy hour? From 5-7pm, you can get yourself a Bud’s Best Pale Ale for $4, a glass of Knock-Out Punch for $5, and kielbasa corn dogs (with beer mustard and house pickles) or Carolina pulled pork BBQ sliders for $5.
And if you roll in late (which means any time after 10pm), you can get $3 whiskey shots, a $6 shot-and-a-beer combo, $10 double cheeseburgers and $10 buckets of fried chicken with fries. For those of you who aren’t so good at math, that means a shot and a beer and a bucket of fried chicken for $16 which, not for nothing, is a helluva late dinner.
Anyway, these deals are happening all this week and, of course, B&M’s regular menu will be in effect the whole time (which means fried cheese curds for everyone), so if you haven’t been back in a while, now’s the perfect time.
