Princeton Restaurant Opening New Location at King of Prussia Mall

Mistral is opening in early 2017.

Everyday there seems to be fresh news of more stores and restaurants coming to the King of Prussia Mall expansion. The newest one is pretty exciting.

Princeton-based restaurant Mistral will be opening a new 3,700-square-feet restaurant at the entrance of the mall, between Neiman Marcus and Lord & Taylor. Headed up by executive chef Scott Anderson, the restaurant has a rotating seasonal menu focused on local ingredients.

It doesn’t quite seem like they can be categorized as one type of cuisine, their dishes take inspiration from multiple genres in one pass. And though very few details about the King of Prussia location have been released, the Princeton menu tops out at with plates for two for $35.

Since opening in 2013, the Princeton restaurant that is also related to Elements has received quite a bit of attention. A promising review of the restaurant appeared in the New York Times and they have consistently made the list of best places to eat in New Jersey.

Mistral will be just one of the many restaurants coming to King of Prussia in the next year. The mall is refocusing their dining options with independent chef-focused spots.

Mistral is projected to open in January of 2017.
