Besito Mexican Restaurant to Open in Ardmore
Besito Mexican Restaurant will bring Mexican food to Ardmore’s Suburban Square on Monday October 26, adding to Suburban Square’s dining scene that runs the gamut from the independent Parlor to the chain Not Your Average Joe’s.
Besito (translated as “little kiss”) will be an upscale restaurant with an extensive tequila list and stylish decor. The Ardmore location will have a 150-seat restaurant, full bar, private dining area and outdoor patio with a fireplace that can accommodate up to 30 additional people.
The restaurant’s menu includes dishes like Tableside Guacamole en Molcajete and Panquesito de Jaiba, a crispy jumbo lump crab cake with roasted habanero cream sauce and corn, as well as entrees like Enchiladas de Mole Poblano, made with shredded chicken baked in mole poblano with queso fresco, onions and cilantro.
The bar will also offer a selection of cervezas, sangrias, creative house-cocktails and a special focus in top-notch margaritas made from a full bar that’s stocked with over 75 tequila selections.
Besito plans to host events and specials like the upcoming celebration, El Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). On Nov. 1-2, the restaurant will prepare honorary Mexican dishes designed specifically for the holiday, including lunch, dinner and dessert.
Ardmore’s Besito will be the brand’s 7th location, and first in the Philadelphia area.
