Dîner En Blanc Wait List Now Open

Dîner en Blanc is returning to Philadelphia this year, meaning that somewhere and somewhen (both currently undisclosed) the impromptu picnic celebrating “dinner as an artform” will pop-up for the evening.

As of now, the wait list is open for anyone who wants to register to be notified when tickets go on sale. This does not guarantee a spot at the event, just an entry to the lottery system that will be used to select participants and send them invitations to register. But if you’ve done this dance before (and you probably have), you already know how it all works. You probably still have your white suit (or dress) from last year still hanging in the closet, right?

Leading up to the picnic, head down to the Headhouse Square Shambles this Tuesday, June 9th, from 5 PM – 7 PM to check out the free preview party. Guests will have the chance to vote on table themes for the picnic (this year they are all themed around Philadelphia’s neighborhoods), sample bites from the picnic’s caterers, Garces Catering, DiBruno Brothers, and Luke Palladino Catering, and taste wine from the picnic’s wine sponsor, Apothic Wines. The number of registrations will be announced during the party.

As in previous years, the location of the event will be revealed minutes before the actual event. So register now and cross your fingers that you’ll have the chance to be one of the lucky white-clad guests this summer.

UPDATE: Dîner en Blanc will happen on August 20th, 2015 in Philadelphia.
