4th Annual Vendy Awards

Get ready to roll out the red carpet because the Vendy Awards are back. This Saturday, June 14th, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. the top vendors in Philadelphia will meet at Penn Treaty Park in Fishtown for you to get a taste of some of their best recipes. But the hard part comes after the eating when you vote for People’s Choice, Rookie of the Year and Best Dessert. The finalists include The Cow and The Curd competing for the Vendy Cup, Heart Food Truck competing for Rookie of the Year and Milk + Sugar competing for Best Dessert. Tickets are $55 for adults and and $30 for kids (ages 8-12).

The event will be full of food, drinks, music and more drinks because at the end of the night, Fette Sau and Frankford Hall will be be having after-party drink specials. And to top it all off, the event is a fundraiser for The Food Trust, the non-profit organization in Philadelphia that strives to give all Philadelphians nutritious and affordable food.
