Johnny Goodtimes is hosting a Foodie Quizzo tonight at the Whole Foods Market in Marlton, NJ this evening. It’ll be 4-rounds of food and environment related trivia. Free food and drink, $5 admission goes to Whole Planet Foundation.

Saturday

At 2 pm the Oyster House is hosting its first-ever Shucking Contest, featuring professional and amateur oyster shuckers. The pros will compete for a $200 Grand Prize.  while amateurs will go after a $100 Oyster House Gift Certificate.  Admission is $5 per person and includes all the varieties of the shucked oysters as well as access to Oyster House’s bar and a firkin of Dock Street’s West of Center Pale Ale, which will be on a pay-as-you-go basis. Judges will include the Inquirer’s Rick Nichols and Grub Street’s Kirsten Henri.

Sunday

Check out Pumpkin Restaurant’s five-course dinner for $35. It’s always tasty and a good deal too.
