Stick To Pizza At Stella

Adam Erace is not in love with the food at Pizzeria Stella though he would be happy to eat any of the pizzas again.

It [the pizza] doesn’t have Osteria’s ability to send you into tantric orgasm, and you certainly won’t leave thinking, “Wow, what a great deal!” But the pizza is good, particularly because of the 11- to 12-inch foundations which lies somewhere between rigid Rome and flaccid Naples. A fair amount of char darkened the rims and undersides of my pies, but not so much that they were like kissing a chimney sweep, and the cutting of domestic bread flour with imported doppio zero for the dough made for featherweight slices.
