Here’s Every New Store at the King of Prussia Mall and Everything Opening Soon

Check out what’s new, what’s coming and what's closed before setting out for that big holiday shopping trip.

Luxury is the name of the game at the revamped King of Prussia mall. The ever-expanding mega shopping center underwent renovations to its plaza wing this year and saw the addition of more than a dozen new stores, including Italian brands Intimissimi and Loro Piana and luxury retailers like Charles Tyrwhitt. Others like Christian Louboutin are still on the way.

Before heading out and facing the holiday crowds, here’s a look at what’s new, what’s recently closed, and what’s coming soon at the popular retail destination.

What’s New

Calzedonia

Opened: April 2018
Type of Business: Legwear and beachwear
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The store is the founding member of the Italian Calzedonia Group and specializes in Italian legwear and beachwear. If you’re looking for patterned stockings, socks, or leggings, be sure to make a stop here. And while it may seem a bit chilly for swimsuits, the store is a great stop for anyone with tropical holiday plans.

Johnny Was

Opened: April 2018
Type of Business: Women’s boho, vintage-inspired fashion
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

Johnny Was brought its trademark vintage and bohemian styles to the mall in April. In addition to the company’s traditional boho style of clothing, the brand boasts a sustainable clothing collection, Calme Sustainable.

Intimissimi

Opened: April 2018
Type of Business: Lingerie
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6

A subdivision of the Calzedonia Group, this Italian lingerie brand, formerly sold in the U.S. at Victoria’s Secret, joined the mega-mall this spring after opening its flagship U.S. store in New York last year. According to Forbes, this Philly-area shop is one of several opening across the country in 2018.

Kicks USA

Type of Business: Shoes
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The shoe and apparel retailer, which carries numerous big-name shoe brands including Nike, Air Jordan, Adidas, and Puma opened in May. The store provides style options for men, women, and children.

Invisalign

Opened: May 2018
Type of Business: Orthodonture
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The Orthodonture brand is famous for using clear plastic retainers rather than braces to straighten teeth. The King of Prussia store offers complimentary 3-D mouth scans, shows patients options for their future smiles, then sets them up with a doctor.

Five Below

Opened: June 2018
Type of Business: Discount variety store
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The discount store, which is known for selling discounted items,  opened its King of Prussia location next to the mall’s Cheesecake Factory early this summer. The store carries everything from cheap snacks and candy to room decor and headphones.

Charles Tyrwhitt

Opened: July 2018
Type of Business: Men’s Clothing and Accessories
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The luxury British menswear retailer joined the mall in July. Like Intermissi and Calzedonia, the brand is moving into the American market quite aggressively. The Philadelphia Business Journal reports that they plan to open 35-50 new locations within the next few years.

Shoe Department Encore

Opened: August 2018
Type of Business: Shoe Sales
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

Shoe Department Encore joins Kicks USA as the mall’s second new shoe retailer for 2018. The store carries many popular brands including Timberland, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, and Hi-Tec. You’ll also find handbags and shoe care supplies at the King of Prussia mall location.

Zara

Opened: September 2018
Type of Business: Fast fashion retailer
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The Spanish clothing brand specializes in selling trendy men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing and accessories. Their much-anticipated, two-level store joined the mall in September and is highly popular with shoppers looking for up-to-date clothing and designs.

Kendra Scott

Opened: September 2018
Type of Business: Jewelry
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The jewelry brand was founded on the values of “family, fashion, and philanthropy,” according to its website. Since launching in 2002, the Austin-based boutique has gained popularity among celebrities for its unique designs. Sofia Vergara, Hilary Duff, and Eva Longoria have all been seen wearing the designs.

Loro Piana

Opened: October 2018
Type of Business: High-end clothing
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

Specializing in cashmere and wool products, this 200-year-old textile company produces its high-end garments entirely in Italy. The brand’s popular sweaters, jackets, and high-end accessories joined the mall just in time for the chilly fall weather.

Monnalisa

Type of Business: Children’s clothing
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The Italian clothing retailer opened its first monobrand store in King of Prussia this fall. The store joins three other U.S. multi-brand locations in New York, Miami, and Beverly Hills. The retailer specializes in creating and distributing high-end clothing for children ages 0-16.

Lindt Chocolate

Opened: October 2018
Type of Business: Chocolate store
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The Swiss chocolate confectioners, who proudly go by the name “Chocolatiers,” brought their famous truffles to the mall just in time for Halloween season in October. The store is now offering a number of Black Friday specials that can claimed online or in-store.

Kate Spade New York

Opened: October 2018
Type of Business: Women’s clothing and accessories
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The women’s fashion brand specializes in colorful designs and prints and its doors between the Neiman Marcus and Lord & Taylor in the mall’s plaza. This location joins the more than 100 locations across the world.

What’s Coming

Christian Louboutin

Opened: November 2018
Type of Business: Women’s shoes
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The famed French shoe designer is expected to open this store later this November. Located between the Nieman Marcus and Macy’s, this store will help round out the expansion corridor and add a luxury brand to the list of shoe retailers that joined the mall this year.

Showcase

Opening: December 2018

Type of Business: Home, tech, lifestyle
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The North American brand that deems itself “home of the hottest trends” is slated to join the mall in December. Showcase will bring its “try it before you buy it policy” and a ton of interesting products including weighted blankets, hoverboards, and a collection of “as-seen-on-TV” products.

Type of Business: Beds and Mattresses

The manufacturer has been producing bedroom furniture since 1855, with a specific focus on beds, headboards and mattresses. According to the website, some seasonal deals include free mattress delivery and 100-day no-risk in home comfort trial on mattresses.

For Eyes

Opening: 2019
Type of Business: Eyeglasses

“We make buying glasses easy,” is the retailer’s tagline. The brand will bring its extensive inventory of sunglasses, eyeglasses and contacts. Customers can schedule eye exams or appointments at the store, where they’ll be able to try on the frames in person. The retailer carries designer brands like Gucci, Ray Ban, Heritage and Tommy Hilfiger.
