The Wait is Over, an Eggplant Emoji Vibrator Is Finally Here

Concocted in Philly, here’s what the internet has to say about it.

The eggplant emoji just can’t get a break. It’s unclear when it became the world’s leading phallic symbol, but now, to further solidify its esteemed place in all things raunchy, an unnamed Philly entrepreneur has turned it into a vibrator, IRL.

“Designed with love in Philadelphia,” the Emojibator website reads, the creators promise that “whether you’re looking for self pleasure, a playful and perfect gift, or embracing the inner vegan, Emojibator will certainly please.”

The 4.84” x 1.22” fruit-shaped sex toy, is colored a cartoonish purple and green, of course, is waterproof for your shower and sanitizing needs and is made with “high quality medical-grade silicone,” according to the website.

The nifty pleasure tool, just $32, also has 10 different vibration settings, and for those who want privacy, you’ll receive the package in discreet packaging.

The company has already shipped out vibrators nationally and internationally, and the company’s owner, going by the pseudonym Jaime Jandler, told Philadelphia magazine, “it feels like I got my MBA in just five days.” The two-person company faced some hurdles with international shipping this week and had to act fast.

And of course the internet, the very source of the eggplant emoji’s fame (think: #EggplantFriday), had tons to say about the product’s release.

The vibrator is already being called one of the city’s best inventions.

But those unwilling to accept that summer’s almost over disagreed. Sorry, but, the hot dumpster and pickup truck pool party days are behind us.

This says a lot about the state of the internet these days.

But for some, the Emojibator needs a companion. We’ll let you Google what a flesh light is.

Emojibator has been praised for its branding. Should other Philly companies take note?

We’re confused, too.

But some have already figured out what to do. The Emojibator is the perfect gift for your loved ones and pets.

It’s not yet clear what kind of impact the Emojibator will have on Philly’s economy, but Jandler says Philly was the perfect place to design the product because of the support he received.

The company says it is already developing new products, and we can expect to see some Emojibator TV appearances soon.
