Cyber Monday was invented so people could surpass the lines on Black Friday and still get serious deals on holiday gifts. But shoppers at Target were instead greeted with an error message stating the following:

“So sorry, but high traffic’s causing delays. If you wouldn’t mind holding, we’ll refresh automatically & get things going ASAP. Thank you for your patience!”

Target is offering 15 percent off every order all day on Cyber Monday. The site came back online around 10:45 a.m.

Target is the second-largest discount retailer in the United States after Walmart.
