The Eagles agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Chris Givens, the team announced this afternoon. The 26-year-old receiver was the Rams’ fourth-round pick in 2012, before he was traded to Baltimore last year for a conditional draft pick.

Givens spent three years in St. Louis with Sam Bradford, with whom he had his best season. In 2012, Givens broke the NFL rookie record for most consecutive games with a reception of at least 50 yards (five). During that season, he also led the Rams in receiving yards (698), yards-per-catch average (16.6) and receptions of at least 25 yards (eight).

However, his production has since declined. While playing in 45 games in the last three seasons, he scored just two receiving touchdowns. But during his 12-game stint in Baltimore last year, he did average a career-high 18.2 yards per catch.

Givens will address the media at 4 p.m.
