Soon after Kiko Alonso left the game against the Cowboys in the second quarter, the Eagles announced he will not return because of a left knee injury.

Alonso previously tore the ACL in his left knee and dealt with tendinitis in that knee during the preseason. With Alonso out for the game, DeMeco Ryans, who started against Dallas, will likely play more snaps.

Inside linebacker Mychal Kendricks also left the game early in the second quarter with a left hamstring injury. The Eagles announced at halftime that he will not return. Jordan Hicks, the Eagles’ 2015 third-round pick, is the next inside linebacker listed on the depth chart.
