The Eagles preseason’ continues tonight as they take on the Baltimore Ravens at Lincoln Financial Field. We’ll pop in with updates as the game progresses. Feel free to join the conversation in the comments section.

10:27 – Tebow takes a pair of snaps and the clock runs out. Eagles win 40-17.

10:26 – Renner and company are moving the ball down the field and calling timeouts in the process. They use their final timeout with 1:19 on the clock. On fourth and one from the Eagles 17, Marc Anthony breaks up a pass. Eagles take over with 51 seconds left.

An accurate assessment of Smith’s kicks tonight, from everyone’s favorite penguin:

10:16 – Jerome Couplin recovers the onside kick and is questionably ruled down by contact. Monangui picks up nine on first down, then 28 on third down, giving the Eagles first and goal at the four. Tebow keeps the ball on a roll out and dives to the pylon. The play is reviewed and Tebow is ruled out of bounds at the one-half yard line, much to the dismay of the remaining crowd. Monangai then takes the handoff from Tebow and pushes the pile into the end zone for a touchdown. Another shank from Smith, but once again, it goes in. Eagles 40, Ravens 17, with less than two minutes to go.

10:05 – Denzel Rice is beat over the middle for a pickup of 18 by Trent Steelman the Travis Raciti chases Renner out of bounds for a loss of one. Renner comes back to complete a 18-yard pass to DeAndre Carter who is hit illegally by Randall Evans, resulting in a 15-yard penalty. Daniel Brown then hauls in a 28-yard throw over Marc Anthony for a touchdown. Ravens go for two and once again, their successful try is negated by a penalty. Tucker comes on to try a 48-yard extra point. He nails it. Eagles lead is cut to 33-17 with 2:44 remaining.

9:56 – Tebow keeps the ball on the first play of the drive and runs for 26 yards. Monangai follows that up with a nifty run up the middle for 25 yards. A pair of incompletions stalls the drive at the 16-yard-line. Kip Smith shanks the field goal attempt badly, but it still goes in. (Can you say kicking controversy?) Eagles lead 33-10 with under five minutes remaining.

9:50 – A holding penalty costs the Ravens a 25-yard run from Magee, but an offsides call on the Eagles on third down gives the Ravens a third and short, which they convert. Magee continues to pound the ball inside the ten, but is unable to cross the goal line, resulting in a 22-yard Justin Tucker field goal. Eagles lead, 30-10. INJURY UPDATE: Rasheed Bailey has gone inside for an x-ray of his shoulder. His status is currently unknown. Barkley finished the day 6-14 for 86 yards.

9:39 – The crowd comes alive as Tim Tebow runs onto the field after a touchback. He keeps the ball on the read option on second down and picks up two yards. On third down Tebow is sacked after spending an eternity in the pocket, but a penalty on the ravens gives the Heisman-winner another chance. On second and seven, Tebow hands the ball off to Kevin Monangai who is stripped from behind and the ball is recovered by the Ravens at the Eagles 35.

9:31 – Boos reign down as Darren Waller takes a screen pass from Renner for seven yards and a touchdown to end the shutout. Baltimore tries to go for two, but a holding penalty negates the attempt and Justin Tucker hits a 43-yard extra point. Eagles 30, Ravens 7, with 14:18 remaining in the game.

9:28 – Bryn Renner is now quarterbacking for the Ravens. Eric Rowe gets beat over the middle on a crossing route, then Terrence Magee picks up 19 yards on a rush, putting the ball inside the red zone. The Ravens will start the fourth quarter with first and goal at the six.

9:19 – Raheem Mostert continues to be the driving force behind the Eagles offense, moving the ball all the way down to the Ravens 38-yard-line on a pair of carries and one catch before Barkley hits Freddie Martino at the 17. Barkely scrambles for five yards on first down and has his pass batted down on second down, then tries to get the ball to Bailey over the middle, but the ball is deflected. Rookie Kip Smith comes in to kick a 30-yard field goal. Eagles 30, Ravens 0. Or as Jimmy Kempski so eloquently puts it:

9:11 – On second down, the pocket collapses around Schaub and Diaheem Watkins picks up the sack. After a third down incompletion, the Ravens punt goes 53 yards, and a holding penalty on Denzel Rice will have the Eagles start their next drive at their own 9.

9:03 – Matt Barkley leads the offense onto the field after Barner returns the kickoff to the 16. On second and ten, Mostert gets a seam up the middle and runs for 15 yards. Mostert follows that up with a third down run of eight yards for a first down. Barkley gets sacked on first down after John Moffitt misses not one, but two blitzers. Luckily, the Eagles are saved on a third and long by an illegal hands to the face penalty on Baltimore. Mostert continues to move the ball as Barkley finds him on third down for a pickup of 11 and a first down. Bailey takes a screen pass from Barkley and fights his way upfield for eight yards, then comes back on the very next play to take the Eagles down to the 16-yard-line with a 17-yard catch. After an offensive pass interference penalty is declined on third down, Parkey comes on and knocks home a 35-yard field goal. The ensuing kickoff goes for a touchback. Eagles lead, 27-0, five minutes into the second half.

8:40 – Cassius Vaughn gets flagged for pass interference before wrestling the ball from Agholor as he heads for the sideline. Sanchez completes a pair of passes Rasheed Bailey for 12 yards. The Eagles use their final timeout with 11 seconds to go. Sanchez throws an incompletion and Parkey comes on for a 55-yard attempt. He misses badly, wide left. Eagles still lead at the half, 24-0.

8:38 – A three-and-out for the Ravens and the Eagles get the ball with 58 seconds to work with. 8:30 – Raheem Mostert catches a swing pass from Sanchez and picks up seven yards, but that’s all the Eagles will get after a pair of incompletions. Jones’s punt travels 43 yards and it is fair caught at the Ravens 13. 1:35 to go in the half.

8:25 – The Ravens cross midfield after Schaub completes a 21-yard pass over the head of EJ Biggers, but a tripping penalty by Ryan Jensen puts the Ravens in a fourth and four situation from the Eagles 37. The Eagles get great pressure on Schaub and the pass is nearly picked off by Najee Goode. Eagles will get the ball back with 1:57 remaining in the second quarter.

8:18 – The Ravens drive is halted by a false start penalty and a sack. Then Kenjon Barner returns the punt 68 yards for a touchdown, his second punt return TD of the preseason. Eagles lead is up to 24-0. 8:15 – Ed Kracz has tonight’s stats for the Eagles trio of running backs:

8:11 – Eagles are driving again after Sanchez hits Barner on third and short for a first down. On the next play, Sanchez throws a deep out to Agholor, who dives and gets his hands on the ball, but is unable to haul it in. Donnie Jones sees his first action of the night as his 54-yard punt goes into the end zone for a touchback. Ravens take over with 6:15 to go in the first half.

8:05 – Parkey’s kickoff is fumbled by DeAndre Carter at the Baltimore six, but he is able to recover and return the ball to the 14. Matt Schaub is now in at quarterback for the Ravens. The Ravens pick up a first down, but their drive stalls after Brandon Bair bats down a pass on third down. Kenjon Barner receives the punt at the Eagles 20 and picks up six yards on the return. Eagles ball with 8:11 remaining in the second quarter. Here’s an update on Sanchez’s day so far from Les Bowen:

And a Vinny Curry note from Zach Berman:

7:59 – Sanchez’s second drive is aided by a unnecessary roughness penalty and penalty for illegal contact on a pass attempt to Trey Burton. Sanchez then gets great pass protection on third down and hits Burton over the middle for seven yards. He then sails a first down pass to Nelson Agholor who goes up and gets it, but receives a big hit to the gut. On the next play, Agholor nabs a pass from Sanchez and takes it down to the Ravens three-yard-line. Jordan Matthews catches the ball on a crossing route and runs into the end zone, but the potential touchdown is negated by a holding penalty on Julian Vandervelde. The Eagles get the ball back to the three, but are unable to punch it in. Parkey makes his first field goal attempt of the night and the Eagles lead 17-0 with just over ten minutes to go in the first half.

7:46 – Justin Forsett picks up six yards on two carries before Flacco hits Kamar Aiken on a crossing route to pick up a first down. A first down holding penalty puts Baltimore in a hole and they ineffectively run the ball on second down. As the first quarter ends, the Ravens are facing a third and 19 from their own 32. Flacco opens up the second quarter by throwing the ball away after being pressured by Vinny Curry off the edge. Eagles take over at their own 20-yard-line.

COOPER UPDATE: X-rays were negative on Riley Cooper’s thumb. He will still sit out the rest of the night as a precautionary measure.

7:36 – Sanchez’s first two passes are complete to Murray and Sproles to get the Eagles down to the seven. Murray punches the ball in from the two-yard-line and the Eagles increase their lead to 14-0 with 2:35 left in the first quarter.

7:32 – Ravens start the drive on their own 20 after a touchback. After a pair of runs gives Baltimore a first down, Flacco sails a pass over Marlon Brown’s head and it is picked off by Byron Maxwell. Maxwell returns the ball to the Ravens 29-yard-line. Mark Sanchez will takeover for Bradford.

INJURY NOTE: Riley Cooper is back in the locker room getting an x-ray on his thumb.

7:24 – Sam Bradford leads the team on the field and receives a Tim Tebow-like standing ovation from the crowd. DeMarco Murray runs the ball on first down and picks up seven yards. Bradford then completes his first pass of the day to Darren Sproles to convert a third and six. Terrell Suggs takes a cheap shot at Bradford’s knees after he hands the ball off to Sproles and the Eagles get 15 yards, and Jason Kelce lets Suggs know how he felt about the move. Two snaps later, Bradford gets hit by DT Brandon Williams on an incompletion, but gets back up and hits Josh Huff on a short out route and picks up another first down. On third and five Bradford hits Jordan Matthews over the middle for a 15 yard gain and a first down at the Ravens 14. On the next play, Ryan Mathews runs 14 yards untouched to the end zone for a touchdown. Bradford finishes the drive 3-5 for 35 yards. Eagles lead 7-0.

7:10 – Ravens receive the opening kickoff and Bryan Braman blows up returner Asa Jackson at the 13-yard-line. Ravens start the possession with six straight runs and pick up a fourth and one to keep the drive moving. Joe Flacco attempts a deep pass that is tipped by Nolan Carroll at the goal line and picked off by Walter Thurmond. A holding penalty by Emmanuel Acho negates a 31-yard return by Thurmond. Eagles start with the ball at their own 16.
