LeSean McCoy exited in the first quarter of Thursday’s game against the Steelers with a thumb injury.

McCoy had 24 yards on four carries and took a screen pass 22 yards for a touchdown with just over six minutes remaining in the quarter. He went inside a short time later. X-rays taken on the thumb came back negative but he will not return.

A toe injury kept McCoy out of practice Sunday but he returned Monday and practiced in full.
