We know this holiday season isn’t the same as usual, but we’re still pretty psyched to get our Christmas tree up and decorated. While the appeal of an artificial tree may draw you in (pine needles everywhere can be a drag), nothing beats coming home to the smell of pine and cedar — which is why we’ve curated a list of where near here you can get a real Christmas tree this year.
There’s a plethora of farms where you can chop down your very own Christmas tree, while following COVID-19 safety guidelines. Want a fresh-cut tree, but not into axe-swinging? No problem: Some of these spots will chop the thing down for you, shake out the excess needles, and offer you a hot cocoa or a doughnut while you wait. Others offer both live trees in burlap and pre-cut trees in any size you need, ranging from petite three-footers to giants that will scrape the ceiling. And if you don’t want to travel for your tree this year, a few heroic local delivery services will deliver one to your home and set it up for you — or bring it to your door with no-contact drop-off. Read on to find the best Christmas tree option for you.
Christmas Tree Delivery Options
This local operation will deliver a tree of your choosing to your door in Philadelphia from a local farm and set it up for you, too, if you like. If you’re really in a hurry to get in the holiday spirit, they even offer next-day delivery. And you can add on tree removal and recycling later, so you don’t have to stress once the holidays are over.
