SoBol Is Giving Away Free Açaí Bowl Samples to Celebrate the Start of Summer
On Thursday, June 21, SoBol will be slinging free samples in Rittenhouse.

It’s hot out there, people. Really hot. And you know what’s our favorite thing to do on seriously hot days? Eat as much fruity, refreshing, frozen açaí as we can handle. Thankfully, SoBol Philly is here to help us with this mission.

In celebration of the first day of summer on Thursday, June 21, SoBol is handing out free açaí bowl samples near their Rittenhouse location. The four-ounce samples will feature their classic açaí puree, with granola, strawberry, banana, blueberry, coconut flakes, and a drizzle of honey to finish it off.

“We had an incredible response the first time we did this in May, and we hope to brighten even more Philadelphians’ afternoons as they enjoy the first day summer,” said SoBol Philly co-owner Dan Nestor, in a press release.
The samples will be handed out from 12 to 2 p.m., and to snag one all you need to do is show up at the corner of 17th and Chestnut Street. If four ounces isn’t enough, the SoBol storefront is nearby at 46 South 17th Street, where you can pick up a bowl in a kids’ size ($5.95), regular size ($8.50), or super size ($12.95).
