Philly climbers, rejoice! The fall of 2018 will bring The Cliffs Climbing and Fitness, a New York City-based indoor climbing mega-gym, to a VERY accessible location for most Center City dwellers—in the industrial-ridden Callowhill neighborhood. If you ask us, this is the perfect spot for a huge (and centrally located!) addition to Philly’s collection of indoor climbing gyms. Plus, it’s great news for all the climbing junkies who have been lugging climbing shoes and chalk alllll the way to East Falls or Northern Liberties for an indoor climbing or bouldering session.

The forthcoming (and massive!) 39,000-square-foot gym, suited for climbers of all ages and skill levels, will inhabit an empty warehouse located at 340 North 10th Street. This location will be the The Cliff’s largest to-date, with walls aplenty for bouldering and roped climbing.

In addition to the gym’s climbing training area, it will also feature a full fitness facility (yep, that means group fitness classes and personal training) and a retail shop stocked with all the climbing gear, accessories, and swag you’ll need to get in a killer climb.

The Cliffs is a fan-favorite for indoor climbing in the Big Apple, so we’re pretty sure it’ll be a hit here in the City of Brotherly Love. You can learn more about your membership options here and read more about the gym here.
