The time has arrived, guys! Riverwards Produce owner Vincent Finazzo tells us that his Fishtown market, filling the space of an old Fishtown firehouse at 2200 Norris Street, will open its doors this Saturday, April 22nd at 8 a.m. Get those reusable grocery bags ready!

We told you guys ALL about Finazzo’s plans for the market here, but as a refresher: Finazzo’s aim with the Riverwards Produce market is to provide reasonably priced produce and healthful ingredients, along with the tools to help people turn whatever they stuff into their baskets into delicious, good-for-you meals. To wit: Back when we talked with Finazzo in December, he told us, along with stocked shelves, part of the store would be devoted to a free cookbook library of sorts, they’d be doling out free healthy recipes, and they’d host the occasional cooking demo. Awesome, right? We agree.

Along with plenty of produce, like the name suggests, the market will feature a meat section stocked by Primal Supply Meats, a bulk section (see that heart-eye emoji-worthy photo above), Oasis at Bird-in-Hand Dairy, local breads and honey, and plenty more. (We spotted a pretty sweet selection of Kensington-based Terra Luna Herbals products on their shelves while doing some Insta-stalking).

So when can you head there, you ask? Well, Finazzo tells us that starting Saturday, the market will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. Happy shopping!
