Listen Up, Beer Lovers: Registration Now Open for Yuengling Oktoberfest 5K

Yuengling Oktoberfest 5K

Calling all the beer-loving runners out there! Registration for the third annual Yuengling Oktoberfest 5K opened early this morning. And, per usual, the race will end with you holding a giant beer stein (that’s a mug, by the way) filled with 22 ounces of free Yuengling. Yes, please!

This year’s race is going down Sunday, October 2nd. Registration will get you the brew-filled beer stein mentioned above, plus entry to the Oktoberfest festival at SteelStacks, “traditional Bavarian entertainment,” and a tech shirt. This year, they’ve also added a costume contest to the mix, so you’re going to want to dress to impress (see wardrobe inspiration above).

The race is capped at 3,000 participants this time around (that’s 500 fewer spots than last year), so if you want in, you might want to register earlier rather than later. It’ll cost you $40. You can find more info here.
