To Do: Learn to Bake Gluten-Free Desserts at Cook
If you’ve ever attempted to cut out gluten from your diet, you certainly realized—instantly, I’m guessing—that it severely limits your options as far as baked goods go. And what’s a world without cookies and cupcakes, I say?
On Saturday, March 15th, Philly-based vegan chef Christina Martin will host a baking class at Cook to show you how to make three delicious, wheat-flour-free sweet treats at home. Students will learn how to make chocolate cupcakes with cashew frosting, a seasonal fruit tart, and currant zest scones. Yum, right?
The class is at 3 p.m., and there are only five spots left, so sign up ASAP.
$75, March 15th at 3 p.m., Cook Philly, 253 South 20th Street, Rittenhouse.
