Reminder: Broad Street Run 2013 Lottery Closes Today

Get your name in ASAP for a chance to run in this year's race.

Just a quick reminder to all you Broad Street hopefuls that the first-ever lottery closes tonight at 11:59 p.m. You can register as an individual or a group. The latter means that you and your running buddies (up to five of you, total) can sign up together. If the group is selected, all runners in the group get bibs; if the group is rejected, no one does. Note that you can only register one time, either as an individual or a group, so don’t try stuffing the ballot box by entering both ways, please.

For runners who don’t have computer access, the race has announced a list of “KEYSPOTS” at recreation centers throughout the city where you can register. Here’s a list of ’em (PDF alert).

After you register, you should receive a confirmation email. Broad Street organizers will post an alphabetical list of all entrants and whether or not they’ve been chosen to run next Tuesday. The list will be on broadstreetrun.com and you’ll also receive an email “on or before Tuesday, February 19,” according to organizers, with your lottery results.
