Philadelphia Sports Clubs Free for Hurricane Victims Through September 15

The six area clubs will be open free of charge

Town Sports International, which runs Philadelphia Sports Clubs, is opening the doors of all its clubs from DC to Boston to those impacted by Hurricane Irene until September 15th.

According to Mysportsclubs.com, “If you need to take a hot shower, charge your cell phone, or recharge your body with a stress-melting workout, our club is your club.”

Entry is free, of course, but you have to be 18 or older and show ID to get in (the promotion only applies to local residents). There are six Philly-area clubs: Market Street, Rodin Place, Society Hill, Ardmore, Highpoint and Radnor.

In August, PSC opened its gyms for free on days when temperatures topped 90 degrees.
