Time’s running out to register for the Bicycle Club of Philadelphia’s Peter Odell Memorial Ride, a day-long journey from New Hope to New York. Cyclists can choose from 125-, 90-, 70-, and 50-mile routes to suit their ability. Ride leaders will take you over the rolling terrain of central Jersey, through the Great Swamp Wildlife Refuge, on the ferry into Manhattan, and across the Brooklyn Bridge. In Brooklyn Heights, you’ll have the opportunity to shower and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before boarding the bus home. Bring plenty of water and snacks to refuel; the day begins at 6 a.m. and ends at 9 p.m.
