Public Pools Where You Can Swim for Free in Philadelphia
Your guide to the city's public pools that are open (so far!) this summer.

This year, Philadelphians have the chance to enjoy some relief from the sweltering summer heat at free public pools in Philadelphia. Over 60 Philadelphia public pools are expected to open this summer on a rolling basis. Here’s what is currently open or will be opening soon (as of June 18th).
Most all pools will offer public swim hours from 1 to 4 p.m. daily, though many also offer additional public swim opportunities. (We’ve listed what we know below!) Be sure to search the city’s pool finder for updates on swimming hours, free lessons, and swim team activities.
Public Pools in Philly
June 12th
Hunting Park Pool (1101 West Hunting Park Avenue, North Philly): Public swim: Monday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturdays and Sunday from 12 to 2 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m.
Kelly Pool (4231 Lansdowne Drive, Fairmount Park): Public swim: Monday through Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 4 p.m.
June 13th
Max Myers Pool (1601 Hellerman Street, Northeast Philly): Public swim: Monday through Friday from 1 to 3:50 p.m. and Saturdays and Sunday from 1 to 3:45 p.m.
