Running, Yoga, Live Music, Beer and BBQ: Registration Open for the Philly 5 Mile

Last week, we told you guys about the Philly 5 Mile, the sweet new festival — complete with running, yoga and a concert — that the folks behind the Philly 10K have planned for the Navy Yard this Memorial Day. And if you were waiting with bated breath to secure your spot, the time has come: Registration for the race opened at 10 a.m. today.

When it comes to registration, you’ve got three options: You can register for the 5-mile run (there are about 4,500 spots), or for the yoga session (300 spots), or you can register for just the post-race festival. All of those options get you a beer from Yards, BBQ from Lo Spiedo and a concert with music from Philly bands Good Old War and Work Drugs. Not a bad way to spend you holiday, right?

Like we said, registration opened at 10 a.m. today — so hop to it, people! You can register here.
