Easter is this Sunday, which means it has to be spring by now, right? Let’s hope so. In honor of this marker for warmer days to come here are some homes with livelier than average exteriors, and some with interiors that simply remind us of spring (or Easter, if you celebrate that). Enjoy!
506 S. 45th Street, Philadelphia, PA
Shades of pink may be less prominent during Valentine's Day (that job seems to belong to the color red), but they definitely have their moment during the Easter season. This home happens to flaunt the color from the outside, all three floors of it!

1131 Green Valley Road, Bryn Mawr, PA
Priced at nearly $8 million, this Franch manor-styled residence has a distinctly pink and green living room. And judging by the size of the property (less than 6 acres), egg hunts could probably last for a good chunk of time.
Germantown Avenue during a winter storm
Even during this past winter's slew of snowstorms, Germantown Ave. still looked cheerful thanks to the brightly painted exteriors of some of the buildings.

Although interiors with darker tones might not have made it on the list, the light blue on the walls of this home's entryway earned it its spot. The living room has a similar color. (Note also the gold molding near the elevator.)
112 Elfreth's Alley
The country's oldest street also houses some of the more colorful of homes. We think these shutters give the home a warm vibe, what do you think?

7111 Chew Avenue, Philadelphia, PA
This pale green and orange Victorian is located in Mt. Airy and has classic architectural details (built in 1904). But don't worry, it's been updated and had easy access to busy Germantown Ave.
35 Grove Street, Haddonfield, NJ
Blue again! This time in New Jersey and of the pastel variety. Out back is a perfectly manicured lawn with a koi fish pond to boot, but the patio could be used for egg-painting activities.
423 Old Eagle Road, Wayne, PA
Here's your average pink house with a colorful history. Not. Click the link embedded in the address to see what I'm talking about.
6500 block of Lincoln Drive, Philadelphia, PA
This vibrant bedroom comes at us from a historic Germantown home designed by the firm Duhring, Okie & Ziegler.
261 Maple Avenue, Doylestown, PA
Forget what I said about the pastel blue Haddonfield, NJ house. This home might be better suited for egg-painting: the back includes a pool house, outdoor pavilion, and clay pizza oven, which is sure to keep everyone around the festivities.
1851 Horseshoe Trail, Chester Springs, PA
We dedicated a whole post to this home and referred to it as the "Amazing Technicolor Dream House." The exterior speaks for itself, but the interior is also quite vivid.
2611 Brown Street, Philadelphia, PA
We're going to go with purple, although some might see blue-ish, but hey! That's the beauty of pastels! This interior comes from a renovated Fairmount home on a street whose name does not do the home's decor any justice.
Corner of Baltimore Ave. and S. 48th Street in Philadelphia, PA
West Philly is filled with colorful Victorian residences, this one included. It's just a matter of finding them and keeping them looking fresh!

159 Library Place, Princeton, NJ
This interior isn't the only part of this century-old home that has Easter-esque flourishes. The sunroom also has touches of pink, while outside there's a brick wall enclosing a "private Eden."
309 Queen Street, Philadelphia, PA
The infamous Prince-ly Queen Village home was taken off the market a little while ago, but for a bit there we didn't think anyone would bite. Word has it the purple will be gone soon so just enjoy the violet vision for now.
7041 Mower Street, Philadelphia, PA
Situated in West Mt. Airy, this Victorian twin house is described as "sun-drenched" in the listing. Personally, the first thing that comes to my mind are grandmothers--in a good way-- who keep jars of candy chocolate around for young relatives with a sweet tooth.
835 Mount Moro, Villanova, PA
Pat Croce, former president of the 76ers and self-described pirate, used to own this home whose extravagance can only be appreciated with a glimpse into the gallery.
223 2nd Avenue, Phoenixville, PA
Whether it's the pink tree or just the general Queen Anne Revival style of the home, the thought of spring is not far from our thoughts when looking at this house.
