Nor’easter Coming for Jersey Shore

Hey look, Sandy's one year anniversary is coming up.

The AP, scaring us this morning:

“Forecasters say minor coastal flooding is possible from a slow-moving nor’easter that’s bringing periods of wind-driven heavy rain to New Jersey. Rough surf could cause beach erosion along the shore that’s still rebuilding nearly one year after Superstorm Sandy. A coastal flood advisory is in effect along the entire New Jersey shore from 11 a.m. Thursday until 5 p.m. Friday.”

Because of the government shutdown, the usual National Weather Service maps documenting this appear to be unavailable. If you want to read the dreaded words: “Urgency: Expected | Status: Actual” though, be our guest.
