Gift the Bride and Groom a Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience with IfOnly

We’ve told you before about the cool wedding registry sites out there that let you register for experiences—like cooking classes, cleaning services and honeymoon airfare or hotel stays—in addition to the traditional kitchen and home goods you find on many couple’s wish lists. It’s such a neat concept and a more modern form of gift-giving that allows newlyweds to really customize their registry to fit their needs and lifestyle.

Our latest discovery, IfOnly, takes this idea to a new level by eliminating the registry process altogether: Instead of catering to engaged couples, the site allows anyone in need of an awesome gift to purchase exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime experiences. So for wedding guests who want to go off the registry and get the bride and groom something personal and unique, they can log onto the site and browse through tons of food, travel, entertainment and sports-related experiences to gift the couple instead.

One of the coolest things about IfOnly, though, is that there are experiences are curated by A-list “luminaries” (like famous chefs, actors, musicians and sports stars) and proceeds from each purchase go towards a specific charity or cause.

Here’s a taste of the experiences IfOnly has available: A private meal at your residence cooked by Chef Tyler Florence, a styling session with Rachel Zoe, private tennis lessons with James Blake, a hot air balloon trip over Napa and tickets and backstage passes to a Broadway show.

Those are just a few of the more extravagant options you can pick from, but there are plenty of others (at a range of price points) for you to see here.
