And Here Is a Photo of a Bridal Bouquet Made Out of Bacon

(And a how-to on making your own.) Happy Monday.

Spotted on the NBC News photo blog this weekend: this.

It is a bridal bouquet made out of bacon, held by a bride as she married her groom at the Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival in Des Moines, Iowa. Her name is April Davila and his name is Craig Roush—please note his boutonniere, which is also bacon—and that’s all we really know about this. But really, what else do we need to know?

Well, how about how to make a bacon bouquet, you say? Ok. I can help you there. Here is a step-by-step pictorial how-to on making your very own bacon bouquet. And I have to say, it looks quite doable.

Um, and maybe don’t show any of this to your groom unless you have your argument prepared as to why he cannot have a bacon boutonniere. You know. Unless you’re totally into it.
