1-in-5 Philly Voters May Have just Chosen Your Next Governor

Turnout was low for Tuesday’s vote.

“When all was said and done, about 20 percent of Philadelphia’s voting public came out to vote yesterday, according to PhillyElectionResults.com,” the folks at Philly Weekly report. That’s only 1 percentage point better than 2010, when Democratic candidate Don Onorato eventually got trounced at the polls by … Tom Corbett. Omen? We’ll find out in a few months.

Ok lets get this out on the table
Philly Weekly writes a nice piece about voter turnout
Joel Mathis has NOTHING better to do than to post the Philly weekly piece as a link

Intrepid Joel then cobbles together a few sentences (3 by my “fuzzy math”)
And voila – We have a story! Written for Phillymag.com For mass consumption.

And this rag (lets face it, that’s what it is) has the gumption to call Joel Mathis a “Senior Writer” or a “Contributing Editor” or something completely unbefitting for these horrble skills of “cutting and pasting”

So in the words of new uber-hero Hon. Johh E. Jones III — Its time to discard Joel Mathis into the ash heap of history
