Wyomissing-born pop sweetheart Taylor Swift owned the Billboard Music Awards (BMA) last night—from the show’s opening, when she debuted her new music video/short film “Bad Blood,” to the moment she beat country superstar Garth Brooks to become the winningest artist in the history of the BMAs. She now has 20 total awards to Brooks’s 19.

Swift took home eight trophies last night alone, including Top Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album for 1989, and Top Hot 100 Song for “Shake It Off.” (See the full list of winners here.)

“It’s unbelievable that the fans went out and proved what they proved this year, and that’s the only reason I won eight awards,” Swift told The Associated Press after racking up all her awards. “Is it eight? Did I win eight awards? Yeah, sick.”

In the audience, Swift celebrated with her brother Austin, three of her “Bad Blood” video co-stars, and rumored boyfriend singer-songwriter Calvin Harris, who gave her a hug all the blogs are talking about this morning. Check out “Bad Blood” below.
